Having been born and raised in the North East of England, spending my university years in Leicester, and then living in South East Asia as a teacher, I moved to South Lakes in 2019 and fell in love with this area. The friendly, community spirit is second to none, and I have always felt at home here.

Now, I have a 19-month-old son, and my wife and I recently purchased our first home in Dalton. To me, this highlights my dedication to the town, its people and its prosperity – if my son is going to grow up here, I want to do my best to ensure Dalton is the best it can be for now and for the future.

Professionally, I work as a project manager for Kendal College. The skills that I use in my career are transferable to my role as a councilor and I will strive to help manage, and initiate, projects for the benefit of the local community.

Other than that, I am a keen Newcastle United supporter, dad of a Greyhound called Glen and passionate about plant-based food.

Ultimately, I genuinely feel that Dalton has massive potential and am excited to help the town, and the community, to prosper. In my role as councilor, I aim to find out what the public want and try to deliver on their wishes.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
