Council Meetings

The Town Council meet once a month on the first Monday with the exception of August which is a recess. All our meetings are open to members of the public and there is time set aside at each meeting to address general questions.

All meeting are held in the Town Hall on Station Road and commence at 7pm.

Surgeries

The town council surgeries normally held monthly prior to the main council meeting were suspended due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. If you would like to speak to any of our councillors please contact the Town Hall who would be happy to make an appointment for you.

Dalton is the ancient and historic capital of Furness and has approximately 8,000 residents at the current time.
